To continue with the streak of AWESOME, upbeat news. Cannabis is now going to be fully legalized in Canada, which is incredible news for the international cannabis community as well because first, this is the second country to fully legalize Weed and second, this is a precedent for [hopefully] many more to come. Canada is setting an example for the rest of the world.
Now, aside from the obvious outcome of Marijuana just being legal, this also opens the doors to other good stuff, such as more and better research in this field, which will lead to better and friendlier laws around the world to regulate medical and recreational Cannabis, and other countries actually considering legalizing it.
And in case these news sound like Déjà vu to you, yes Weed was already legal in Canada, but only in the form of Medical Marijuana. Recreational Cannabis was still prohibited.
So if you're Canadian, this law won't take effect immediately, but in most provinces it'll take effect from 8 to 12 weeks from now, so don't despair. As for the rest of the world, hopefully everyone else is taking notes.
