On the 4th of July we celebrate our independence; It's the anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain, in 1776. We also celebrate freedom and one of the freedoms we are free to exercise is voting. Cannabis Voter Project is a non-partisan website, created by headcount.org and founded in 2018 that helps you get in touch with your officials, and letting them know that you are a Cannabis voter, it also serves to educate voters on relevant ballot initiatives and where elected officials stand. Don't let everyone else decide the future of your country, don't just stand by. People often say "Why vote?" or "what's the point?", well, your vote counts! In every state where Marijuana was legalized voters made that change happen. Medical Cannabis has been legalized in 30 states, while recreational weed is legal in 9 and 3 more states are voting this November on legalization measures.
So what better way to exercise your freedom this 4th of July than contacting your officials and letting them know where YOU stand? Take action!
